Privacy policy

Overview

Encryptorium does not use tracking cookies, third-party advertising, or data brokers. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate this website and respond to inquiries.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate page views, referrers, and browser information, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page performance. Both are privacy-focused. Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track individual users across sessions. Speed Insights records each measurement anonymously and, in Vercel's words, is designed so that it is not "tied to, or associated with, any individual visitor or IP address"; it cannot reconstruct a browsing session across pages. Neither can be used to identify you.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, organization (if provided), and message. This data is transmitted via Resend and delivered to our inbox. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to mailing lists, sell your data, or share it with third parties.

Resend processes email data in accordance with their privacy policy. Contact form submissions are subject to rate limiting (3 per hour per IP address) for abuse prevention; IP addresses are held in memory only and not stored persistently.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp, user agent) for operational purposes. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.

Third-party services

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, and articles containing video embed the YouTube privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). In both cases Google may collect standard request data (IP address, user agent) when the resource is loaded. See Google's privacy policy for details.

The shop

The Encryptorium shop at shop.encryptorium.com is not covered by this policy. It sits on an encryptorium.com subdomain but it is a separate service, hosted and operated on Fourthwall, with its own privacy policy, terms of service and returns policy linked from its own footer.

Orders, payment details, shipping addresses and any account data you provide in the shop are handled there, under Fourthwall's terms. This website does not collect, receive or store order or payment data of any kind: there is no shop page here, no embedded storefront, and no payment processing in this codebase. The only data this site collects is described above.
